Islamabad (Digital Post) – Sarhari Report by Talib Hussain Khanzada: In connection with the ML-1 Railway Project, a social survey team from NESPAK arrived in Sarhari today.

The team was led by Muhammad Sajjad Kurl, who stated in his media briefing that after the completion of this project, the speed of Pakistan Railways will increase from 120 to 140 kilometers per hour, enabling Pakistan Railways to provide better facilities to the public. He further said that local railway stations will also be upgraded, and additional train stops will be provided, which will greatly benefit the local population.

As part of this initiative, the team reached Sarhari and held meetings with local residents to brief them about the project program. The purpose of the meeting was to incorporate public opinion into the project planning. A large number of citizens gathered at Sarhari Railway Station and shared their views, emphasizing the need for the timely completion of the ML-1 project.

On this occasion, Ramla Siddique and Madam Ayesha, accompanying Muhammad Sajjad, met with local women and informed them about the program. During the meeting, the women of Sarhari voiced numerous complaints regarding railway services. They stated that only one train currently stops at their railway station, which is insufficient for their needs.

The women requested the survey team to convey their concerns to higher authorities and urged them to immediately provide a stop for the Millat Express at Sarhari Railway Station.
