Nawabshah (Digital Post) Under the auspices of Sunni Ulema Council District Nawabshah, a Madah-e-Sahaba and Demands Rally was organized on 18th Dhul-Hijjah, the day of the martyrdom of the Third Caliph, son-in-law of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Oppressed of Madinah, the Publisher and Scribe of the Holy Quran, Hazrat Syedna Imam Usman Ghani (RA).

Nawabshah (Digital Post) Under the auspices of Sunni Ulema Council District Nawabshah, a Madah-e-Sahaba and Demands Rally was organized on 18th Dhul-Hijjah, the day of the martyrdom of the Third Caliph, son-in-law of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Oppressed of Madinah, the Publisher and Scribe of the Holy Quran, Hazrat Syedna Imam Usman Ghani (RA).

The rally, led by district leaders of Sunni Ulema Council including Qari Muhammad Akram Farooqi, Allama Muhammad Aamir Farooqi, Qari Muneer Ahmad Haqqani, Qari Muhammad Hanif Usmani, Maulana Ali Haider, Maulana Abdullah, Asif Qureshi, and others, proceeded from Jamia Kabir Mosque to Press Club Nawabshah.

Addressing the participants, the leaders of Sunni Ulema Council Nawabshah said that the overwhelming participation of Ahl-e-Sunnat followers in today’s Madah-e-Sahaba and Demands Rally sends a clear message that all the Companions (Sahaba) and Ahl-e-Bait are the crowns upon our heads and the foundation of our faith.

They stated that the martyrdom of Hazrat Syedna Imam Usman Ghani (RA) occurred on 18th Dhul-Hijjah, and that his personality remains a great example of sacrifice, devotion, and faith in Islamic history. Hazrat Syedna Imam Usman Ghani (RA) dedicated his wealth, life, and time to the supremacy of Islam. His sacrifices will remain a guiding light for Muslims until the end of time, and his martyrdom teaches us the principles of unity, love, and sacrifice for religion. Islamic history will always take pride in his services.

The speakers further said that Hazrat Syedna Imam Usman Ghani (RA) sacrificed his life but preserved the peace and security of the city of Madinah, the city of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The leaders also demanded that 18th Dhul-Hijjah be officially observed as the Day of Martyrdom of Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA), that national media broadcast programs highlighting his personality, services, and sacrifices, and that educational institutions organize seminars shedding light on the events of his life.

They further demanded that the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and other senior officials issue special messages regarding the significance of this day.

According to the speakers, these measures would not only represent the sentiments of Muslims but would also help familiarize the younger generation with the importance of Islamic history. In this way, the sacrifices of our predecessors can be remembered, and people can be encouraged to follow in their footsteps.
