Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Issues Notice to Real Estate Marketing Agencies, YouTubers for Promoting Illegal Projects

RAWALPINDI, The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has issued a notice to real estate marketing agencies and YouTubers for promoting illegal housing projects on their social media platforms and selling related forms and files. The notice orders them to remove all promotional content and apologize to the public.
RDA has also devised a procedure for YouTubers and real estate companies to verify the legal status of any project before promoting it.
The RDA notice comes after it was discovered that more than 83 real estate marketing agencies and YouTubers were promoting the illegal Mega City Gujjar Khan housing project. The RDA’s website lists 83 sales partners for Mega City Gujjar Khan, including SM JOURNEYS REALTORS, EVOLVUM MARKETING SMC (pvt)LTD, FJ ASSOCIATES, ESTATE GUIDES, and HMS REAL ESTATE & BUILDERS.
These marketing companies sold thousands of files of Mega City Gujjar Khan to the unsuspecting public, even though the project does not have the required approvals of LOP and NOC from the RDA.
According to RDA sources, no real estate marketing/advertising agency contacted the RDA to know the legal status of Mega City Gujjar Khan before promoting its advertisement.
Victims of Mega City Gujjar Khan have accused the sales partners of presenting forged proof of RDA approval LOP on the Mega City website and pamphlets. The RDA has now confirmed that Mega City Gujjar Khan does not have the required approvals and that the files sold to the public are illegal.
The RDA has instructed the sales partners involved in the Mega City Gujjar Khan scam to apologize to the public and remove all promotional material. The RDA has also warned that it will take strict action against any real estate marketing agency or YouTuber that is found to be promoting illegal housing projects.
The victims of the Mega City Gujjar Khan scam are in a difficult position. They have invested in a project that is illegal and does not have the required approvals from the RDA. This means that they may not be able to get possession of their plots or housing units, even if they have paid for them in full.
The RDA has assured the victims of Mega City Gujjar Khan that it is working to resolve the issue. However, it is unclear how long it will take for the issue to be resolved or if the victims will be able to get their money back.
In the meantime, the victims of Mega City Gujjar Khan can file a complaint with the RDA or seek legal advice. They can also join a victims’ association to share information and support each other.
