Islamabad (Digital Post) – Major operation by Rawat Police: A gang involved in sharing obscene and indecent videos through online live streaming on adult websites has been arrested.

A total of 11 local and foreign individuals were taken into custody. The arrested persons include both male and female Pakistani and foreign nationals. Among them are two foreign men, two Pakistani men, and seven women, including one foreign woman.

Police also recovered a pistol and ammunition from the scene. Rawat Police seized mobile phones, laptops, and other equipment allegedly used for live streaming activities.

According to police, the suspects were uploading obscene videos to various websites. A case has been registered and all individuals involved have been arrested.

Authorities say that major revelations are expected during the investigation. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest other members of the gang as well as their facilitators.

For further investigation, Rawat Police are coordinating with NCCI to expand the scope of the inquiry and trace additional links connected to the network.
