Hasan Abdal (Digital Post) Hasan Abdal Police have arrested notorious accused Farjad alias Fara, who was nominated in a case involving kidnapping, illegal confinement, extortion, and serious threats. According to the police, the case registered against the accused includes allegations of a serious nature, and important developments are expected during the course of the investigation.

According to FIR No. 261/26 registered at Saddar Hasan Abdal Police Station, proceedings are being carried out against the accused under sections relating to kidnapping, unlawful confinement, extortion, threats of serious consequences, and forcibly entering a house.

The police produced the accused before the court and stated that further interrogation of the accused and possible recoveries were required. After reviewing the record, the court approved a 5-day physical remand of the accused, while the police had requested a 7-day remand.

According to police sources, various aspects of the case are being examined during the investigation, and further facts are expected to emerge from the questioning of the accused. Sources said that law enforcement agencies are investigating all dimensions of the case.

Furthermore, the court has directed that upon completion of the remand period, the accused be produced again on June 8, 2026.
