Haripur (Digital Post) Khanpur Police Station operation: Two suspects from an armed gang lying in wait for robbery and highway robbery arrested, weapons and ammunition recovered

Haripur (Digital Post) In light of the orders of DPO Shafiullah Gandapur, Haripur Police continues its operations against criminal elements.

SHO Khanpur Police Station Siddiq Shah, along with police personnel, conducted an operation at Link Road Garhi Sayedan and arrested two suspects from an armed gang allegedly lying in wait for robbery and highway robbery. The arrested suspects were Asad Mahmood son of Karam Elahi, resident of Debiyan Taxila, and Waqas son of Riaz Ahmad, resident of Taxila. Police recovered 02 pistols and ammunition from their possession.

Operations are continuing at different locations for the arrest of the other two accomplices of the suspects. A case has been registered against the suspects under sections 399, 400, 411, and 15AA. Further investigation of the arrested suspects is ongoing.
