Haripur (Digital Post) Member National Assembly NA-18 Haripur Babar Nawaz Khan distributed compensation cheques among the victims of the Hattar tragedy on behalf of the Federal Government

On behalf of the Federal Government, cheques of 20 lakh rupees per person were given for those who lost their lives in the tragedy and 5 lakh rupees for the injured, the cheque distribution ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner Office Haripur

While addressing the ceremony, Captain Muhammad Safdar Awan and Babar Nawaz said that under the leadership of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Federal Government did not leave the victims of the Hattar tragedy alone, and has remained with the affected families on every platform since the night of the incident, the Federal Government will continue to fully support the families of the victims at every level including the education of their children in the future as well. Member National Assembly Babar Nawaz Khan expressed special thanks to Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for increasing the compensation amount. The ceremony was attended by former Tehsil Chairman Haripur Samiullah Khan, Member Provincial Assembly Shazia Khan Jadoon, President Pakistan Muslim League-N Sahibzada Hamid Shah, General Secretary Qazi Saeed Advocate, Tehsil President Sardar Hafeez Ahmed, General Secretary Safeer Ahmed Khan, officers of the National Disaster Management Authority, office bearers of Pakistan Muslim League-N District Haripur, Youth Wing, Women Wing, journalist community, civil society, and a large number of respected elders and dignitaries. The participants also prayed for the departed souls of the martyrs of the Hattar tragedy and for the safety and prosperity of the country and the nation.
