Islamabad (Digital Post) Incident of torture on a 13-year-old maid by a husband and wife residing in Phase 8 of Bahria Town, marks of biting with teeth on the body, they kept burning her with electrical appliances, case registered, raids are being conducted to arrest the suspects. Constable Muhammad Adeel Riaz, who was on duty, informed Rawat Police as the complainant of the case that he was on night duty in Bahria Town Phase 8 when he heard the screams of a young girl who came out of a house and was running blindly towards the road. Later, the affected girl revealed that her parents had arranged her job as a domestic worker four months ago through a company at a monthly salary of 20 thousand. Where she was not allowed even once during the past four months to call or meet her parents. According to the girl, she was often subjected to torture, both husband and wife used to beat her together and burn her using electrical appliances and bite her with teeth. According to the girl, “there are marks of wounds on different parts of her body and marks of bites with teeth.” According to the girl, she was locked in a room, she managed to escape when she got the opportunity. Rawat Police, after contacting the mother, shifted the affected girl to the hospital for medical examination in police custody. CPO Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani took notice of the torture on the domestic maid and sought a report of the incident from SP Saddar Division Anum Sher while ordering the immediate arrest of the accused. Police have arrested the suspects involved in the torture along with the parents of the domestic maid.
