Islamabad (Digital Post) FIA Islamabad Zone launches crackdown against hoarding of petroleum products.
Islamabad: On the directions of the Director General FIA, strict operations against the hoarding of petroleum products are ongoing. Officers of FIA Islamabad Zone conducted 16 targeted raids in Islamabad and Rawalpindi Division.
Major results of the operation:
- 25,000 liters of petroleum products recovered
- 16 illegal hoarding and distribution centers identified and sealed
The Director General FIA has strictly directed that no individual or group should be involved in hoarding petroleum for profiteering or overpricing. He made it clear that indiscriminate action will be taken against those violating the law.
Teams of FIA Islamabad Zone are conducting joint operations across Islamabad and Rawalpindi Division in coordination with sister agencies, OGRA, local administration, and other relevant departments to completely eliminate hoarding.
FIA reaffirms its commitment that the crackdown against such elements will continue without interruption to ensure the supply of petroleum products to the public at official rates and to prevent disruption of the supply system.
