Karachi (Digital Posts) KarachiManghopir Police arrested a tanker driver responsible for hitting several children in a traffic accident. SHO Manghopir Anees Sheikh stated that the accused was driving the tanker negligently and recklessly when he struck the children. As a result of the accident, a six year old child, Hassan son of Faisal, lost his life.
Three other children were injured in the incident, including 17 year old Sharjeel, 7 year old Abdullah, and 15 year old Fatima.
Police took prompt action, seized the tanker involved in the accident, and arrested the driver, Fayyaz son of Muhammad Ameen. The accident occurred on the road between Ijtima Gah and Gulshan e Bahar within the jurisdiction of Manghopir Police Station. SSP West Tariq Ilahi Mastoi stated that legal proceedings are being carried out against the arrested driver in accordance with the law.
