Karachi (Digital Posts) Sindh Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi attends procession on martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali Hazrat Ali was a fountain of knowledge and a symbol of justice and truth. Said Riaz Shah Shirazi Karachi Sindh Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi attended the procession held on the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib and paid tribute. In his message he said that the life of Hazrat Ali represents the highest principles of Islam including justice, wisdom, courage and devotion. He said Hazrat Ali was a close companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and a distinguished member of the Ahl al Bayt. He devoted his entire life to the cause of Islam, the protection of truth and the support of the oppressed. The minister said the wisdom, bravery and piety of Hazrat Ali secured him a distinguished place in Islamic history. He showed remarkable courage in the battlefield and upheld justice even in the most difficult circumstances. He added that during his caliphate Hazrat Ali promoted justice, tolerance and service to humanity. He always followed the path of truth, patience and compassion. His martyrdom was a great tragedy for the Muslim Ummah yet his teachings continue to guide Muslims across the world. Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi said the life of Hazrat Ali teaches humanity the values of knowledge, justice, patience and service to mankind. He urged people to adopt these teachings in practical life in order to promote harmony, tolerance and brotherhood in society.
