Rahim Yar Khan (Digital Post) Launch of Motorway Police’s Special Awareness and Enforcement Campaign for Motorcyclists
According to details, in light of the orders of Inspector General Motorway Police Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry and under the directions of DIG Central Zone Shahid Javed, a special awareness and enforcement campaign for motorcyclists has been launched under the leadership of Sector Commander Rahim Yar Khan SP Rana Muhammad Ismail. The purpose of this campaign is to reduce traffic accidents.
Keeping in view the increasing number of motorcycle accidents on the national highway, awareness panaflex banners regarding the mandatory use of helmets and side mirrors and adherence to lane discipline have been displayed at toll plazas and important locations during the campaign. In this regard, road safety sessions and seminars are also being organized in various educational institutions, factories, and private company offices. Officers are briefing road users and highlighting the importance of traffic laws.
Sector Commander SP Rana Muhammad Ismail, while talking to the media, said that the use of helmets and side mirrors and adherence to lane discipline can significantly reduce accidents and loss of lives. He said that legal action is also being taken without discrimination against those violating traffic laws to ensure safe travel on highways.
