Karachi (Digital Posts) Robbery Case Traced in Karachi West; Two Arrested, Key Facilitator Found to Be Relative.

Karachi (Digital Posts) Police in Karachi West have arrested two suspects involved in a house robbery in the Frontier Colony area. According to the SSP West, the incident occurred on February 9, 2026, at the residence of a citizen named Alam Khan. The robbers held the family hostage and looted Rs. 2.5 million in cash and 27.5 tolas of gold.
A case (FIR No. 52/2026) under Section 395 of the Pakistan Penal Code was registered at Pirabad Police Station. Acting on a tip-off, the SHO Pirabad conducted a raid in Banaras Colony and arrested Muhammad Haseeb, son of Hayat Khan, and Ismail, son of Abdul Zahir.
Police recovered two illegal pistols with ammunition, Rs. 625,000 in cash, and two artificial earrings from the suspects. Another case under the Sindh Arms Act has been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.
Authorities stated that one of the arrested suspects is the victim’s brother-in-law, who allegedly planned the robbery and opened the house door for his accomplices. Police are conducting raids to arrest the remaining suspects.
