Islamabad (Digital Posts) IGP Orders Intensified Crackdown on Criminal Elements Across the Capital،According to the details Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry chaired an important meeting with officers of Saddar Zone and Industrial Area Zone to review crime prevention measures and police performance. The meeting was attended by DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem, SSP Law and Order and Organized Crime Unit Hassam Bin Iqbal, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, the concerned zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs.During the meeting, IGP Islamabad reviewed the law and order situation, crime prevention measures, overall police performance and progress in under-investigation cases in both zones. He directed the officers to take effective action against active gangs involved in motorcycle and car theft, ensure the arrest of the accused and recover stolen vehicles and motorcycles. He further directed them to ensure the timely disposal of under-investigation cases in accordance with merit and the law and to continue indiscriminate action against criminal elements.IGP Islamabad also directed the officers to adopt effective strategies for crime prevention, strengthen police patrolling and ensure prompt action on citizens’ complaints. He made it clear that negligence or poor performance would not be tolerated, while officers demonstrating good performance would be encouraged and rewarded.On this occasion, officers who demonstrated outstanding professional performance were awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation. IGP Islamabad said that recognizing commendable performance is essential for motivating the police force and further enhancing its professional capabilities.IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry stated that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority of Islamabad Police. He directed the officers to utilize all available resources to eliminate crime, maintain law and order and provide a safe environment for citizens. He further emphasized that all officers must perform their duties with dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility to achieve effective results in crime prevention and public safety.
