Attock (Digital Post): Citizens have leveled serious allegations against officials of the District Council Attock, accusing them of allegedly demanding monthly extortion payments, harassing those who refuse to pay, and subjecting them to mental distress through various means.

According to citizens, District Council Attock officials Dabir Shah, Shakeel, and Itebar Khan allegedly demand monthly payments. Those who refuse to pay are reportedly issued various notices and allegedly threatened with heavy fines, legal action, and other measures, causing them considerable mental distress.

Affected citizens claim that matters of a minor nature are allegedly used as pretexts to repeatedly issue notices, leaving ordinary citizens under severe pressure and anxiety. They further allege that individuals who refuse to pay the purported monthly amount are continuously harassed in an attempt to pressure them into making the payments.

The citizens have called upon the higher authorities to take immediate notice of the matter and order a transparent and impartial investigation. They have demanded that if the allegations against District Council employees Itebar Khan, Shakeel, and Dabir Shah are proven to be true, legal action should be taken against those responsible in accordance with the law, so that ordinary citizens can carry out their affairs without unnecessary harassment and distress.
