Islamabad (Digital Post) IGP orders enhanced Safe City integration with police operations,Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired an important meeting at the Central Police Office. The meeting was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya.During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the overall law and order situation in Islamabad, the effective use of the modern surveillance system, and further improvement in institutional coordination within police operations.The IGP Islamabad directed that the technology based monitoring system should be utilized in a more effective and integrated manner to enhance crime prevention and ensure the safety and security of citizens at all costs.He stated that better coordination between police operations and the Safe City system is a critical need of the time. This will not only improve response times but also make the identification and action against criminal elements more effective.The meeting also emphasized improving data sharing systems, continuously updating the performance of modern cameras and monitoring systems, and strengthening coordination with field units.In the end, the IGP Islamabad instructed all officers to utilize their full capabilities for the protection of citizens, prevention of crime, and enforcement of law and order, and to make full use of modern technology.
