Islamabad (Digital Post) – In the Gujar Khan area, three suspects wanted in several serious criminal cases, including the murder of a father and son, opened fire on police. During the exchange of fire, one suspect was killed, while the second suspect escaped along with another accomplice while continuing to fire at the police.

Police recovered a motorcycle that had been snatched at gunpoint from the Race Course Police Station area, along with weapons.

The deceased suspect was identified as Ghulam Rasool, who was wanted in cases of double murder, murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of weapons. According to police records, he had previously been convicted in a double murder case.

Police stated that the suspect had fled after allegedly killing a father and son in a shooting incident in the Mandrah area some time ago.

Search operations are ongoing for the arrest of the remaining absconding suspects, while further investigation into the case is underway.
