Islamabad (Digital Post) Major police operation in Bahria Town. An alleged prostitution den exposed, 10 individuals including a former police officer arrested. Revelations regarding human trafficking, drug supply, and an organized network have raised several questions.
As part of ongoing operations against illegal activities in the federal capital, Islamabad Police conducted an important operation in the Civic Center of Bahria Town Phase 4 and exposed an alleged prostitution den. The operation was carried out by Lohi Bher Police Station on secret information, where 10 individuals, including former police officer Irfanullah alias “Langra,” were arrested.
According to police sources, SI Sajjad Ahmed of Lohi Bher Police Station received information from a special informant that a center called “Bella Spa,” located on the first floor of Plaza No. 153, was allegedly involved in immoral activities and women were being systematically used for the business. After considering the information credible, police immediately decided to take action.
According to sources, a special team accompanied by lady constables reached the location at around 11:40 PM and conducted a sudden raid. Police stated that several men and women were allegedly found in objectionable circumstances during the operation, after which all individuals were immediately taken into custody.
The arrested suspects include former police officer Irfanullah alias “Langra,” Rizwan Abid, and eight women. The arrested women were identified as Maham, Ruqaiya, Saadia, Asia, Nargis, Saba, Maham Sani, and Shaista. According to police, these women reportedly belong to different cities including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sargodha.
According to details registered in the FIR, the main accused Irfanullah alias “Langra” had previously been part of the police department but was later dismissed from service. Police sources claim that despite his dismissal, he was allegedly using his former identity and connections to provide protection to this network.
Important revelations also emerged during the investigation. According to police sources, the arrested women stated that a person named “Hammad” was forcing them into this business and allegedly supplying them to different cities. Police stated that after this revelation, the matter was no longer limited to prostitution allegations and aspects of human trafficking had also emerged.
Police have registered case number 309/26 against the suspects at Lohi Bher Police Station. Sections 294 and 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code and the Human Trafficking Act HTA-3 have been included in the case, while more sections may also be added.
Sources stated that during the raid, police also allegedly found important evidence related to the supply of narcotics, particularly ice and intoxicating pills. Police are now investigating whether the group was also involved in drug distribution alongside the alleged prostitution activities.
According to police officials, raids are being conducted at different locations for the arrest of absconding suspect Hammad and other facilitators of the network. Investigative agencies are also examining whether this group had links with other cities or influential personalities.
Following this operation, questions have also started being raised regarding other spas and beauty centers operating in Bahria Town and surrounding areas. Public circles stated that if proper monitoring had been carried out in time, such alleged activities might not have continued in such an organized manner.
Islamabad Police officials clarified that operations against illegal activities, human trafficking, drug dealing, and organized crime in the federal capital will continue without discrimination, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
