Karachi (Digital Post) YDA JPMC Announces Final Ultimatum Over Non-Payment of House Officers’ Stipends.

General Secretary, YDA JPMC strongly condemns the persistent and unjustified withholding of stipends and salaries of House Officers by the administration. Despite repeated reminders and concerns raised by young doctors, no serious action has been taken to resolve this critical issue.
YDA JPMC hereby issues a final ultimatum to the administration:
If all pending stipends and salaries of House Officers are not released before 11th May 2026, YDA JPMC will initiate a complete boycott of all clinical, ward, emergency, and routine duties across the hospital.
House Officers and young doctors have continued to serve patients with dedication, professionalism, and commitment despite facing severe financial hardship and mental stress. However, this continued administrative negligence, irresponsible delay, and disregard for doctors’ legitimate rights can no longer be tolerated.
In the event that the deadline is ignored, the boycott will be complete and indefinite.
Furthermore, once the protest and boycott commence, no doctor will return to duty until the following demands are fully met:
Immediate and complete disbursement of all pending stipends and salaries.
An official written apology and notification from the administration acknowledging this unacceptable delay and negligence.
YDA JPMC stands united in defense of the dignity, rights, and respect of House Officers and young doctors. Hospital duties will not resume until justice is delivered and all demands are fulfilled.
