Haripur (Digital Post) The police administration in Haripur remains limited to photo sessions, while giving “all is well” reports to the victims’ families. In the double murder case, the police had taken three days’ time from the families, but even after an additional week has passed, the main accused, Kafeel Shah, involved in the killing of Chaudhry Ayaz alias Jazi and his young son, is still at large.

Haripur (Digital Post) The people of Haripur district have now lost trust in false claims and promises. They demand practical action, insisting that the main accused be arrested and given exemplary punishment according to the law.

On April 14, following a minor altercation, former Naib Nazim Chaudhry Ayaz alias Jazi and his young son Chaudhry Azmat were shot and injured by Kafeel Shah on Shakar Shah Road. Chaudhry Azmat succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while Chaudhry Ayaz alias Jazi also passed away after 14 days during treatment.

DSP City Saeed Jadoon, while speaking at a public gathering at the Trauma Center, had assured the families to allow three days for the arrest of the accused and his production before the court of law. However, even after an additional week has passed, the police administration has failed to arrest the accused.

The people of Haripur district have strongly demanded from the DPO Haripur, DIG Hazara Division, and IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure the immediate arrest of the accused Kafeel Shah and address public concerns without further delay.
