Rawalpindi (Digital Post) New revelations have emerged in the rape case of Pirwadhai Police Station, and the scope of investigation has been expanded. The alleged rape case registered at Pirwadhai Police Station in Rawalpindi has taken a new turn, where further disclosures have surfaced after a case was registered by a bus hostess.
According to sources, senior journalist Saleh Mughal, while highlighting various aspects of the case, has claimed that the complainant woman had previously registered multiple cases, including alleged rape cases. According to reports, the said woman had also registered a case in the same police station in the year 2025, while it has also been revealed that approximately seven FIRs have been registered either against her or by her in the past.
On the other hand, this case has also raised questions at the police and governmental level. According to recent directives by the Punjab government and the Chief Minister of Punjab, biometric verification and thorough record checking of individuals visiting police stations have been made mandatory to prevent false cases.
Now it remains to be seen to what extent the relevant authorities conduct transparent investigations in this case and whether any legal action is taken against the woman or not.
