Rawalpindi (Digital Post): According to details, the supply of substandard milk in the twin cities has not been stopped. Questions are being raised about how this chemical-laced milk, which spreads diseases among citizens, reaches the twin cities and under whose patronage it operates. Citizens of the twin cities have questioned Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
This milk has reportedly been transported for a long time via the motorway and GT Road from various cities of Punjab and is supplied to both local and large shops, from where it reaches the public. It is increasingly becoming a cause of heart and lung diseases among the people.
The citizens of the twin cities have demanded from Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi that this supply of substandard milk should not only be stopped but strict legal action should also be taken against those suppliers. Furthermore, if any officials within the departments are found involved, legal action must also be taken against them, as this is a matter concerning the lives of the citizens of the twin cities.
