Karachi (Digital Posts) Karachi Due to the incompetence of the Executive Director, retired Professor Tahir Sagheer, at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), heart patients are facing severe difficulties and distress. According to sources, not only is there a lack of proper space for critical patients in the OPD, but emergency patients are also deprived of basic facilities.
Furthermore, patients and their attendants are facing problems due to overcrowding, mismanagement, and poor arrangements.
There is no proper seating available, and in the intense heat, patients are forced to suffer in difficult conditions, putting their health at further risk.
Public circles have stated that the Sindh government spends billions of rupees on this institution, yet due to the incompetence of the Executive Director, patients are deprived of even basic facilities.
They have demanded an immediate inquiry into the matter and strict action against those responsible, so that patients can be provided timely and quality medical care.
