Rawalpindi (Digital Post) In the area of Waris Khan Police Station in Rawalpindi, police took action regarding the incident in which a woman died due to firing, registered a case, and arrested the accused involved in the incident. The car used by the person in custody has also been taken into possession. According to initial information, the car driver had parked his vehicle in the middle of the road. When a brother and sister traveling in another car asked for way, the driver of the said car opened fire, due to which the injured woman died on the way while being taken to the hospital. The car driver fled after the incident.

Pirwadhai Police Station made further progress in the Salim Gul case, in which a citizen was abducted and murdered by hanging due to personal enmity, and arrested two more individuals. The persons in custody had facilitated throwing the dead body of the deceased into Nullah Lai after the murder. A case regarding the incident had been registered in October last year.

Civil Lines Police Station took one person into custody and recovered 1 kilogram 600 grams of charas. Dhamial Police Station took one person into custody and recovered 1 kilogram 420 grams of charas. Ratta Amral Police Station took one person into custody and recovered weapons along with ammunition. Kahuta Police Station also took one person into custody and recovered weapons along with ammunition, after which separate cases were registered.
