According to SHO Pirabad Shahbaz Khan, 45 year old Rahim Dad, son of Rehman Dad, was critically injured after being shot in Frontier Colony and later succumbed to his injuries.

Police successfully arrested the accused, Muhammad Kafeel son of Muhammad Hussain, and recovered a licensed 30 bore pistol along with ammunition used in the incident.

SSP West Tariq Ilahi Mastoi stated that during initial interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the murder over a personal dispute. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
