According to sources, petrol and diesel worth millions are regularly stolen from oil tankers at these agencies. Petrol is also considered an explosive material, while in any emergency situation no safety equipment is available at the said agencies.

Sources stated that two days ago, in view of the current security situation, an Assistant Commissioner team along with Sihala Police apparently sealed four illegal agencies. Among them, one out of two agencies belonging to Nadeem was sealed, while another agency’s wrong room was also sealed, which were said to be operated in partnership.

Opposite a private petrol pump in Sihala, in what appears to be a parking area, the illegal business of Nadeem alias Dema is allegedly continuing. The said person has established two illegal agencies in Sihala, one of which was sealed by the administration along with the SHO Sihala, while at the other location the theft of petrol and diesel worth millions continues throughout the day.

According to sources, a person named Nadeem alias Dema is openly stealing oil worth millions on a daily basis, but the alleged deliberate silence of Islamabad Police, other administration, and Civil Defence has raised serious questions.

On one hand, strict checking, patrolling, and blockades by Islamabad district administration and police are seen day and night, but on the other hand, giving open freedom to one person for illegal activities on Sihala Main Road has raised questions over the performance of district police, especially Sihala Police.

It is worth mentioning that the SHO Sihala’s team keeps strict watch on other agencies, but granting open freedom to one agency whose owner Nadeem claims to have good relations with police has raised questions over the performance of police and other administration.

The administration, SP Sawan, SSP Operations, DIG Operations, and IG Islamabad are requested to take special notice of the serious situation and ensure legal action against the said illegal business and the individuals involved.
