Islamabad (Digital Posts) Illegal felling of trees is being carried out in the darkness of night in the forests of Upper Moradabad, Dingian, Kambart No. 3, Tehsil Chakar, Jhelum Valley district with the connivance of timber mafia and forest department officials. The felling of forests has posed a threat to the lives of wildlife. 7 large valuable trees (Kail) have been cut down from the forests on government land, which is a huge loss for the state and its residents. The felling of forests has posed a threat to the lives of wildlife, and the fear of landslides is also increasing. The people of the area appealed to the Minister for Forests of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Javed Ayub, Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Farid to take action against the timber mafia and forest department officials and take steps to make the forests of the area safe.
