IslamabadGujar Khan (Digital Post): Gujar Khan Police arrested a man along with his accomplice for raping a woman. According to the complainant, the detained person, together with his accomplice, incited her against her husband and repeatedly raped her by luring her with the promise of marriage. On the woman’s application, Gujar Khan Police have registered a case.

In her statement to the police, the complainant Saima Tauqeer stated that she is a resident of Nai Abadi, Ward No. 7, Gujar Khan. The complainant was married to Muhammad Arsalan in April 2015 and has two children: a 10-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter. Malik Kamran Iftikhar, who was a close friend of her husband, used to visit their home. For the past five years, Malik Kamran had been continuously trying to provoke the complainant against her husband Arsalan, and used to say that “your husband does not love you, I like you and want to marry you and keep you with respect.”

The detained person deceived her and established relations with her, and after sending her husband Arsalan to Islamabad along with his accomplice Sheikh Nafees, he came to the house. Upon resistance and refusal by the complainant, Iftikhar showed a pistol and forcibly raped her, and kept threatening her repeatedly that he would tell Arsalan the entire truth and also show messages, thus forcing the complainant to continue the relationship.

Malik Kamran Iftikhar used to lie to the husband about taking the complainant and her children out for outings, saying that the children would also be accompanying him. About three months ago, during the daytime, Malik Kamran Iftikhar again forcibly came to the complainant’s house with the intention of rape. The complainant pleaded with him and told him that she was pregnant, upon which Iftikhar became furious, started abusing her, and threatened, saying that “now I will make such an example of you that the whole world will see.”

After this, the detained person started showing the nude pictures and videos of the complainant— which he had deceitfully recorded— in front of her husband Arsalan and others, and said that now the entire world will see these videos and pictures and that he would upload them on Facebook and all social media. When her husband came home and questioned her, she told him that the said person, under the guise of friendship with him, had deceived her and forcibly established physical relations with her, and then kept raping her repeatedly and threatening to get her divorced.

According to the complainant, Malik Kamran has also given her pictures and videos to his accomplice Sheikh Nafees, who keeps showing them to others and says that they will make her pictures and videos viral on social media, after which her family will not be able to face anyone. The complainant stated that Malik Kamran, along with Sheikh Nafees and others, deceived her in the name of marriage, committed adultery with her, and attempted to defame her through nude pictures, against whom legal action is requested.

Gujar Khan Police have conducted the medical examination of the affected woman.
