Karachi (Digital Posts) Karachi West: Pirabad Police carried out a major operation against drug trafficking and arrested an accused involved in selling narcotics.
On the orders of SSP West, Pirabad Police conducted a raid on the basis of secret information and arrested the accused, Hayatullah son of Mehr Khan. During the arrest, 27 grams of ice (crystal meth), a mobile phone, and cash obtained from drug sales were recovered from his possession.
The arrested accused confessed to being a habitual criminal. According to the SHO of Pirabad Police Station, the accused is a repeat offender and has previously been arrested and sent to jail in cases related to narcotics and illegal weapons.
SSP West Tariq Ilahi Mastoi stated that a case has been registered against the accused in accordance with the law and an investigation has been initiated.
He further added that this operation is part of the police’s continuous efforts against drug trafficking. Drug peddling is a serious issue that affects not only individuals but society as a whole. This action is an important step in the war against drugs, and the police hope to continue their efforts and carry out effective operations to eliminate drug trafficking.
