Karachi (Digital Post) Sindh High Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Sohrab Goth Town Officials

Karachi (Report pirbux Noonari) The Sindh High Court has issued arrest warrants for the Chairman of Sohrab Goth Town, Lala Rahim, Municipal Commissioner Tanveer Ahmed Arain, and the Accountant Officer in connection with a petition filed by former Senior Deputy Director (BPS-17), Malik Ghulam Muhammad. The petitioner alleged that his salary was withheld and deductions were made during the final year of his service, which he described as an injustice.

The case was heard by a two-member bench headed by Justice Adnan Chaudhry. The petitioner argued that his entire year’s salary was unjustly withheld and requested the court to ensure payment. The court, taking serious note of the matter, directed the arrest of the officials and adjourned the hearing until December 11.

The court emphasized the importance of ensuring that public servants are not deprived of their lawful dues and instructed law enforcement to present the accused officials at the next hearing.
