Islamabad (Digital Posts) International Business Women Association (IBWA), Uzbekistan Delegation Meets Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan at Islamabad

Islamabad (Digital Posts) On 7th October 2026, a four-member delegation of the International Business Women Association (IBWA) “Tadbirkor Ayol” of Uzbekistan, currently visiting Pakistan from 6 October to 10 October 2026, held a meeting with His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Islamabad. The visit is being supported by Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Limited (HRL Group). The meeting was arranged and facilitated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram.

The visiting delegation comprises Ms. Gulnora Makhmudova, Chairwoman, Uzbekistan International Business Women Association (IBWA) “Tadbirkor Ayol”, Ms. Nodira Begim Mukhamadalieva, Head of International Department, Uzbekistan IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol”, Ms. Dilyafruz Tashmukhamedova, Chairwoman, IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Tashkent City Branch and Ms. Anjelika Ogay, Project Manager, IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Tashkent City Branch. The delegation represents an important network of women entrepreneurs and professionals in Uzbekistan and is visiting Pakistan to explore opportunities for institutional cooperation, knowledge exchange, women’s education, entrepreneurship, professional development, and regional connectivity.

H.E. Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev warmly welcomed the delegation and appreciated the efforts being undertaken by IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol” and Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Limited to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the importance of promoting women’s entrepreneurship, educational exchanges, professional development, and people to people connectivity as important pillars of bilateral relations. The Ambassador also emphasized the significance of enhancing collaboration between institutions, businesses, and professional organizations of the two countries to create new opportunities for sustainable growth and regional cooperation.

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the fields of women’s entrepreneurship, education, professional development, skills enhancement, business networking, and institutional collaboration. The delegation shared its vision for expanding opportunities for women through education, training, entrepreneurship, and international partnerships. Both sides emphasized the importance of creating stronger linkages between educational institutions, business communities, women entrepreneurs, and professionals in order to facilitate knowledge sharing, capacity building, and sustainable economic development. The delegation expressed its commitment to developing long term partnerships in Pakistan and exploring collaborative programmes related to women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, capacity building, and international exchange.

The meeting concluded with a shared understanding to continue working towards initiatives that contribute to stronger Pakistan Uzbekistan relations and create new opportunities for women entrepreneurs and professionals in both countries.
