Islamabad (Digital Posts) Three police officers dismissed from service for illegally detaining a citizen and his father. Departmental action initiated against three police officers, including a Sub-Inspector, for misuse of authority.DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem has issued orders for the dismissal of the three police officers.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Azeem, Constable Muhammad Bilal, and Constable Saad Imtiaz have been dismissed from service. A departmental inquiry was conducted following a complaint regarding the illegal detention of a citizen and his father. The departmental inquiry established the charges of illegal detention and exceeding authority.
All three police officers were given a full opportunity for a personal hearing. In light of the inquiry report, the three officers were dismissed from service. Misuse of authority, corruption, and unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. There will be no compromise on the rights of citizens and the upholding of the law. The process of departmental accountability in Islamabad Police will continue without discrimination. Strict departmental action will be taken against personnel involved in violation of the law and misuse of authority.
