ISLAMABAD (Digital Posts): Muhammad Ali Waseem, a Grade-19 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, Islamabad.
His appointment is being viewed as an important development in the administrative and operational structure of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police.
Muhammad Ali Waseem brings significant experience in policing and administrative affairs. His new assignment comes at a time when the Islamabad Police faces major responsibilities relating to the maintenance of law and order, crime prevention, public safety and effective field policing.
The appointment is expected to further strengthen the operational framework of the Islamabad Police, particularly in the areas of law enforcement, security, crime control and coordination among field formations.
As DIG Operations Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Waseem will play a key role in overseeing operational policing and ensuring effective implementation of law-enforcement measures across the federal capital.
His appointment is expected to contribute towards improving operational efficiency, enhancing public safety and further strengthening the overall policing system in Islamabad.
