After another serious robbery case surfaced against him, the court approved a 3-day physical remand and handed him over to Bahter Police Station for investigation and recovery.

According to details, accused Farjad Arshad son of Arshad Mahmood alias Fari was already arrested in a case registered at Police Station Sadar Hasan Abdal, involving the alleged abduction of a transgender person at gunpoint, illegal detention, and withdrawal of millions of rupees through the victim’s bank account and ATM. He was lodged in District Jail Attock on judicial remand.

During custody, it was revealed that the accused was also involved in another serious case registered at Police Station Bahter. The accused allegedly confessed to the incident during custody, after which the investigating officer of Bahter Police Station, SI Amjad Ali Khan, filed an application before the Magistrate Court Hasan Abdal for the production of the accused from jail, which was approved by the court.

After taking custody of the accused from jail, he was presented before the court of Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shahid Zia. The investigating officer appeared with the case record and informed the court that the accused had been formally nominated in the case in light of the supplementary statement of the complainant.

The investigating officer stated that the accused is a habitual and experienced criminal, and further investigation is required. The recovery of the looted property and weapon used in the crime is still pending, for which a 5-day physical remand was requested.

After reviewing the case record and the progress of the police investigation, the court approved a 3-day physical remand of accused Farjad Arshad and handed him over to Bahter Police Station for completion of the investigation.

The court strictly directed the investigating officer to complete the investigation positively within the given time and present the accused again before the court on June 16, 2026. A copy of the court order has also been sent to the District and Sessions Judge Attock.
