ISLAMABAD (Digital Post) DIG Security reviews operational readiness of vehicle fleet،،According to the details, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq carried out a detailed inspection of various operational vehicles, mobile units, and security response vehicles of the Security division. Relevant officers were also present on the occasion, while the overall condition, technical fitness, operational capability, communication systems, emergency equipment, and other essential facilities of the vehicles were thoroughly examined.The DIG Security issued directions to the officers and stated that, considering the security situation in the federal capital, it is extremely important for all Security division vehicles to remain fully functional and operational at all times to ensure immediate, effective, and timely response in case of any emergency, security alert, or unforeseen situation.He emphasized that special attention should be given to the timely maintenance of vehicles and other technical matters to avoid any operational hindrance or technical fault during duty. He further directed the concerned officers to ensure daily inspection of all vehicles and to immediately rectify even minor faults. He added that Islamabad Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens, and all available resources are being utilized to further enhance the professional capabilities of the Security Division. He also directed officers and personnel to remain alert during duty, maintain discipline, and prioritize the protection of citizens lives and property.Islamabad Police is utilizing all available capabilities to maintain law and order in the federal capital, ensure the security of important installations, and provide a safe environment for citizens, while security arrangements are continuously being aligned with modern requirements.
