ISLAMABAD (Digital Post) DG Safe City directs timely completion of Safe City expansion project According to details, DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya held an important meeting regarding the progress on the expansion of the Safe City Islamabad project. The meeting was attended by technical teams from Safe City and ONPL.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the next phase of the Safe City project, technical upgradation, network integration, and enhancing the overall performance of the system.Furthermore, based on field data and technical analysis, practical measures were also agreed upon to make the expansion project more effective and sustainable.On this occasion, DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya stated that the purpose of the expansion of the Safe City Islamabad project is to broaden the city-wide surveillance system through modern technology and further ensure the protection of citizens lives and property.During the meeting, he directed the concerned teams to complete all phases of the project within the stipulated timeline and according to high standards, adding that the completion of this project will significantly improve crime prevention, traffic management, and emergency response capabilities in the federal capital.
