Islamabad (Digital Post) Effective investigation key to justice; says DIG Islamaba According to details, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an important meeting regarding pending cases, investigation matters, and ongoing actions against criminal elements.The meeting was attended by SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt along with all zonal SPs of Islamabad Police.During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of under-investigation cases in various police stations, timely completion of challans, arrest of proclaimed offenders, actions against habitual and record-holding criminals, and overall investigative performance.On the occasion, the concerned officers briefed the DIG Islamabad regarding case progress, arrests, and investigative measures. DIG Islamabad directed the officers that under-investigation cases should be disposed of as early as possible in accordance with legal requirements, and complete challans should be submitted to the competent courts without delay to ensure timely justice for citizens.He stated that all cases must be handled strictly on merit, transparency, and impartiality, and no negligence or delay will be tolerated. He further directed that actions against proclaimed offenders, habitual criminals, and criminal elements should be further intensified.All available resources should be utilized for their arrest, and intelligence based operations should be strengthened to ensure crime control and public safety.The DIG Islamabad stated that investigation officers must perform their professional responsibilities with utmost honesty, hard work, and within the ambit of law, as quality investigation is the foundation of justice. He also directed officers to treat citizens with courtesy, resolve their issues on priority, and provide maximum relief to complainants.Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order in the federal capital, eliminate crime, and ensure a safe environment for citizens, while operations against criminal elements are being further strengthened and expanded.
