Lahore (Digital Posts) The Asian Cultural Association of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Lahore Arts Council Alhamra, organized the prestigious 8th Asian Media & Business Awards ceremony at Alhamra Hall 1, Mall Road, Lahore. The event was graced by Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Provincial Minister for Finance and Parliamentary Affairs, Punjab, as the Chief Guest. Ceremony Highlights

 

Commencement: The

 

a proceedings began with recitation of the Holy Quran by Malik Shahid Awan.

 

Hosting: The event was hosted by Aslam Seemab.

 

Cultural Performances: * The Versatile Performance Group, led by CEO Muhammad Fayyaz, delivered a captivating Sufi performance.

 

A vibrant Baloch Cultural Dance received a standing ovation from the audience.

 

Musical performances featured renowned artists including Abbas Jatt, Megha, Gulab, Ramzan Jani, Mushtaq Chheena, Shamoon Fida, and Falak Ijaz.

 

Keynote Address: Pir Syed

 

Sohail Bukhari

 

Pir Syed Sohail Bukhari, Secretary General of the Association and Chairman of the Awards Committee, addressed the gathering:

 

He highlighted the massive public turnout despite heavy rainfall, which served as a testament to the event’s success.

 

He noted that he has dedicated 43 years to the promotion of art and culture through this platform.

 

He emphasized that this is the first time in Pakistan that awards have been specifically launched for the Electronic/Print Media and Business Community.

 

He expressed gratitude to the

 

Secretary of Information & Culture Punjab, Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani, and the Executive Director of Alhamra, Muhammad Nawaz Gondal, for their support.

Chief Guest Mian Mujtaba

 

Shuja-ur-Rehman paid tribute to Pir Syed Sohail Bukhari’s long-standing selfless service. He also mentioned that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is actively promoting culture and has launched the Punjab Film Fund to revive the local film industry.
