Islamabad (Digital Post),According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired a high-level meeting at Safe City Islamabad. The meeting was attended by all Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs), Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs), Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs), and other senior police officers.IGP Islamabad conducted a comprehensive review of the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, as well as the measures taken for crime prevention. Senior officers briefed him in detail on ongoing counter-terrorism efforts, security arrangements at sensitive locations, intelligence-based operations, traffic management, and effective inter-agency coordination.On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad issued clear directives, emphasizing that operations against criminal elements must be intensified without discrimination and that intelligence-led policing should be further strengthened. He directed that the security of sensitive installations and key locations be ensured at all costs, while courteous conduct and professionalism in dealing with citizens must be upheld.He further stressed the need to improve police station culture, ensure the timely resolution of public complaints, and maintain strict adherence to merit in all actions.Additionally, the IGP Islamabad directed that field policing, patrolling, and checking mechanisms be made more proactive and effective. He emphasized the need for prompt response at all times and directed that all available resources be utilized to safeguard the lives and property of citizens. He also called for a comprehensive strategy to improve traffic flow and facilitate the public.Meanwhile, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired another meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO) Islamabad. The meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, along with the AIG Logistics and AIG General & Development. Administrative, welfare, and logistical matters were reviewed in detail.On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad directed officers to align departmental affairs with modern requirements, ensure the optimal utilization of available resources, and further enhance the professional capacity of the force. He reaffirmed his commitment that the welfare of the police force and the delivery of quality services to citizens will remain the foremost priority.
