Karachi (Digital Post) On the instructions of Additional IG Karachi, Azad Khan, foolproof security arrangements have been made across the city on the occasion of the central procession of 21st Ramadan, the Day of Ali (R.A).

Under the comprehensive security plan arranged for this purpose, 5,213 police officers and personnel have been deployed, including 19 SSPs/SPs, 53 DSPs, 755 NGOS, 4,244 Head Constables/Constables, and 142 Lady Police personnel.

Special security arrangements have been made on the central procession routes, entry and exit points, and return routes.

Route sealing, snap checking, continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras, and deployment of snipers on tall buildings have been ensured along the procession route.

Quick Response Teams will also remain alert to handle any emergency situation, and police personnel have been deployed in major hospitals as well.

The Karachi Police Chief has instructed all officers to perform their duties with full diligence and professionalism to maintain law and order, ensure the safety of participants, and facilitate citizens during the procession.

Karachi Police has appealed to citizens to fully cooperate with security agencies, immediately report any suspicious activity to “Madadgar 15,” and follow the instructions issued by Traffic Police.
