Islamabad  (Digital Posts) Overseas Pakistani woman Dr. Hina Aman has appealed to Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to recover her commercial property in Rawalpindi, which has been forcibly occupied by an influential land grabbing mafia., return the stolen items and arrest and punish the accused. While holding a press conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad, Dr. Hina Aman further stated that her husband had legally purchased a plot located on Range Road, Chauhar Harpal, Rawalpindi, in June 2021 and established a car workshop, for which he had spent approximately lakhs of rupees to start the business. Along with this, we also kept a legal stock of rare animals, including birds and dogs. However, the work of the workshop was suspended in 2023 due to the business not going well. They closed the premises and secured all the related machinery and went abroad again, while the animal business continued as a front business. Meanwhile, my nephew’s company office was also established in the same premises, where one of his employees, Faiz Ahmed Asif Butt, was permanently residing in the premises for surveillance and security. In January 2026, at around 11 pm, about 30 to 40 armed men suddenly attacked our premises. Their names were later found to be Raja Saqib, Irfanullah Jan, and Shoaib Abbasi, who are well-known land-grabbing mafias of the area and were working under the patronage of Imran Ilyas, the nephew of an influential political figure in Rawalpindi. After illegally entering the premises, these armed men severely tortured Danish Mahmood, who was there to buy a dog, and my employee Faiz Ahmed Asif Butt. Both were seriously injured in the attack, and others also committed robbery, and Danish Mahmood (MLCs) was robbed of Rs 50,000 in cash as evidenced by their medico-legal certificates, while his motorcycle registration number 864-RIK was taken from Faiz Ahmed, and Asif Butt’s mobile phone was also forcibly taken away. On receiving the information, we reached the spot without delay and found that the police personnel were already outside. However, instead of providing us with protection or stopping the attackers, we were directed to go to the police station in Naseerabad, Rawalpindi. At the police station, it was found that the said armed men were claiming false ownership of our premises and the adjoining shop. We presented all the relevant documents before the police, which clearly proved our legal ownership and possession, but the police did not pay any attention, which made it clear that the police personnel were in cahoots with the armed occupation mafia and were involved in a conspiracy against us. Inside the police station, Raja Saqib openly threatened me and my brother and threatened us with serious consequences, while we Instead of providing relief and protection, the police facilitated the encroachment mafia, gave them access to our premises, and forcibly evicted us, even locking the gate from outside and now Usman Bilal, a resident of Chakra and an encroachment mafia, is currently residing inside our premises with other goons and criminals on the instructions of Raja Saqib, Chaudhry Khalid DSP, Rawalpindi CPO Since then, I have approached every possible authority, including Operations, Overseas Pakistani Foundation and Prime Minister’s Complaints Cell, but unfortunately no one has paid attention to our complaints and we are being continuously ignored, Dr. Hina Awan appealed to the Prime Minister, Field Marshal and Chief Minister of Punjab to play their role in providing them justice and get their commercial property back, return the stolen items and arrest the accused and punish them accordingly.
