Islamabad (Digital Post) Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that there will be no hesitation in carrying out new air operations in Afghanistan. While talking about the security situation in Pakistan, he said that the terrorist attacks taking place in the country are the result of a “proxy war” launched through the collusion of the Taliban government in Kabul and India. He said that until any guarantee of peace is given from Kabul, Pakistan will not hesitate to conduct new air operations in Afghanistan. It should be noted that the Pakistani government’s stance is that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), involved in major militant activities in the country, has the support of the Taliban government present in Afghanistan.
