Islamabad (Digital Post) FIA Headquarters — Orderly Room Proceedings Held

Islamabad (Digital Post) Departmental action was taken against officials involved in violations of discipline, corruption, and abuse of authority. Ten officers and officials involved in corruption and misuse of powers were awarded punishments. Six officials were issued warnings for absence from a duty training course.

Inspector Muhammad Iqbal was demoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector for one year for failing to verify the driving license during the recruitment of a constable driver. Technical Assistant Nazish Akmal was dismissed from service due to absenteeism. Inspector Asad Iftikhar Awan was punished with a reduction of two pay scales for two years for conducting poor investigation. Constable Kamran Saleem was penalized with a one-year stoppage of promotion for absence from duty. Head Constable Muhammad Ali was dismissed from service for absence from duty.

Constable Muhammad Hamza was awarded a punishment of stoppage of increments for three years for absence from training at the National Highway and Motorway Police Training College, Sheikhupura. Constable Muhammad Waqar was awarded a punishment of stoppage of increments for one year for absence from training at the same institution.

Head Constable Muhammad Adnan, ASI Asim Gulzar, Head Constable Shoaib Muhammad Khan, Constable Inder Kumar, Constable Rubia Sajid, and Constable Tahir Hussain were issued warnings for absence from duty and training.

The purpose of the accountability department is to ensure strict compliance with legal and professional standards. Any form of corruption or misuse of authority will not be tolerated. Officials involved in corruption, negligence, and poor investigation have no place in the FIA. A strict accountability process is underway to rid the institution of corruption and black sheep. Strict action is being taken against officials involved in illegal activities.

Through the accountability process, eradication of human smuggling and corruption will be made possible. Negligent officers will be given exemplary punishments.
