London – September 26 2025 (Digital Post): The Global and Commonwealth SME Club (GCSME Club) UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Syed Shahid Ali, Chairman of Treet Corp and Honorary Consul General of South Africa, as Convener SME Development Pakistan. This strategic appointment aims to strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan through trade and collaboration with global SMEs, says press note.

Syed Shahid Ali’s designation as Convener SME Development Pakistan will enable him to leverage his extensive experience and network to promote SME development in Pakistan. He will work closely with Mirza Aamir Khurshid, President (Coordination) Pakistan, and Dr. Tauqeer Akhtar, President (SME Development) Pakistan, to implement initiatives that foster growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the SME sector.

The designation certificate was presented to Syed Shahid Ali by Mirza Aamir Khurshid and Dr. Tauqeer Akhtar on behalf of Mobin Rafiq, Chairman of GCSME Club UK. This appointment is a testament to the club’s commitment to empowering SMEs in Pakistan and globally.
