ISLAMABAD, October 15, 2026 (Digital Posts): Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sohail Ashraf visited various ongoing development projects in Islamabad, including the National Police Academy, Diplomatic Enclave, Kohsar Market and Jinnah Super Market, F-7 Markaz, to review the pace of work, assess the latest developments and evaluate measures for the beautification, upgradation and improvement of key areas of the federal capital.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the Chairman CDA reviewed progress on the upgradation of the National Police Academy, improvement initiatives in the Diplomatic Enclave, and beautification and infrastructure enhancement works at Kohsar Market and Jinnah Super Market, F-7 Markaz. He was briefed in detail on the status of ongoing projects, progress achieved so far and measures being undertaken to improve infrastructure, enhance public spaces and provide better facilities to citizens and visitors.<\/p>\n

Member Building, Director General Infrastructure, Director General Works, Director General E&M, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, respective Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) and Assistant Commissioners accompanied the Chairman CDA. The concerned officers briefed him on the progress of their respective projects, highlighting ongoing development activities and future implementation plans.<\/p>\n

Chairman CDA Sohail Ashraf directed the relevant formations to maintain close coordination, accelerate work where required and ensure the timely completion of all development projects while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.<\/p>\n

On the directions of Federal Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and under the able and effective supervision of Chairman CDA Sohail Ashraf, CDA is committed to the development, beautification and uplifting of various areas and commercial markets across Islamabad. Particular attention is being given to improving roads, rehabilitating and upgrading footpaths, organizing parking areas and enhancing the overall infrastructure of markets to address traffic congestion and parking problems faced by citizens.<\/p>\n
