Islamabad (Digit Posts) City wide search operations ongoing, 802 individuals checked ,Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdictions of multiple police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs.During these operations 802 individuals, 406 houses, 115 shops, 26 hotels, 276 motorcycles and 106 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Meanwhile, 17 suspicious persons, 36 motorcycles and one vehicle were shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.Moreover, accused involved in drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons were also arrested and 333 grams of crystal meth and 02 guns with ammunition were recovered from their possession.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the primary objective of these operations is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements and further strengthen the overall security framework of the city.He further added that Islamabad Police will continue indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers.,He also urged citizens to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or through the emergency helpline \u201cPucar-15\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
