ISLAMABAD: Despite of the issuance of inquiry ordered of the Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatha regarding the forensic audit of the illegal Mega City Gujar Khan, the administration of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) could not start the inquiry so far.
Sources say that the Mega City Gujar Khan land mafia group, known as the drugs and dance parties gang, is associated with Bahria Town’s “Dance Party” in the city, and its veteran member Sheikh Tayyab of Al Aziz Builders has used his influence to hamper the inquiry against Mega City Gujar Khan.
Sources claimed that Sheikh Tayyab used to arrange dance parties and invite the related officers of the Revenue Department and RDA, where these officers are served with wine, wealth, and women.
Sources said that most of the officers of these departments have only one philosophy for work: “Mainu Not Vikha Mera Mood Bane.”
Sources stated that is why RDA has not been able to initiate the forensic audit of Mega City Gujar Khan despite of the Commissioner’s order.
According to the sources, Sheikh Tayyab is responsible for the arrangement of young girls and alcohol for the corrupt officers to avoid action by any department. A record of the details of the gifts given to the officials/frontmen of all the concerned departments is also prepared so that it can be worked out when the time comes. He said that every officer is forced to take bribes.
Sources from the RDA have also confirmed that the concerned authority has not yet started any action for forensic audit of the Mega City Gujar Khan, though it is hardly a few kilometers away from the office of Assistant Commissioner Gujjar Khan and revenue department.
Sources from the Rawalpindi Development Authority working on the anti-regulation housing society project on agricultural lands have also confirmed that substantial evidential visual materials are available of the dance parties which RDA officers attended.
On the other hand, the victim citizens have been demanding action against Mega City Gujar Khan after the order of Commissioner Rawalpindi.
